Knowledge and Attitudes of Pregnant Women toward Covid-19 Vaccination

Abstrak

WHO menilai ibu hamil masuk dalam kelompok yang rentan terpapar SARS-CoV dan golongan yang perlu mendapatkan perlindungan dari infeksi Covid-19. Berdasarkan Peraturan Presiden RI No 99 Tahun 2020 dan Surat Edaran HK.02.01/I/2007/2021 oleh Kementerian Kesehatan RI, pengadaan dan pelayanan vaksinasi terutama pada ibu hamil dan kelompok rentan telah diperbolehkan dengan melewati proses penyaringan untuk mencegah angka kesakitan dan kematian meningkat. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dan dianalisis dengan uji Chi-square. Instrumen berupa kuesioner digunakan pada 50 ibu hamil dengan usia kehamilan lebih dari 14 minggu yang dipilih dengan teknik pengambilan sampel total. Hasil menunjukkan 68% memiliki pengetahuan yang baik, 66% memiliki sikap yang positif, dan responden yang telah mengikuti vaksinasi sebanyak 66%. Hasil p-value variabel pengetahuan (0,000) dan sikap (0,000) terhadap keikutsertaan vaksinasi lebih kecil dari nilai α (0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa mayoritas responden memiliki pengetahuan baik dan sikap positif terhadap vaksinasi Covid-19 dengan tingkat pendidikan sebagai faktor dominan. Ditemukan juga bahwa pengetahuan dan sikap berhubungan terhadap keikutsertaan ibu hamil dalam vaksinasi Covid-19 di PMB Naimah Hakipsah.

Abstract

WHO assesses that pregnant women belong to a group that is vulnerable to being exposed to SARS-CoV and need to get protection from Covid-19 infection. Based on The Indonesia Presidential Regulation number 99 of 2020 and The Circular Letter of Indonesia Health Ministry HK.02.01/I/2007/2021, the procurement and vaccination services, especially for pregnant women and vulnerable groups, have been allowed through a screening process to prevent morbidity and mortality increase. It was descriptive quantitative type research with cross sectional approach and analyzed by Chi-square test. The questionnaire had used on 50 pregnant women with a pregnancy age over 14 weeks who were selected using the total sampling technique. The results showed that 68% had good knowledge, 66% had a positive attitude, and 66% of respondents had participated in Vaccination. The p-value results of knowledge (0.000) and attitudes(0.000) toward vaccination participation are below the α-value (0,05). In conclusion, most respondents have good knowledge and positive attitudes toward the Covid-19 Vaccination despite education level as the dominant factor. It also found that the knowledge and attitudes were related to the participation in Covid-19 Vaccination among pregnant women at Naimah Hakipsah Midwifery Clinic.
